These Terms govern your use of Rookify. By accessing or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

Company Information

Rookify is a subsidiary of Swayven Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13615743, with its registered office at 167–169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF.

Use of the Service

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide, including chess usernames.
• You will not misuse the service or attempt to disrupt or overload any systems.

Accounts and Security

• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and any tokens you supply (e.g., Lichess token).
• You must notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

Content and Data

• You retain rights to your uploaded games and data. By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to process and display them to provide the service.
• We may derive analytics and models (e.g., embeddings) from your data for functionality such as recommendations.

Third-Party Services

The app integrates third-party services such as Supabase (auth), Chess.com/Lichess (game data), analytics (e.g., Google Tag Manager), consent (Cookiebot), AI engine services, and vector databases. Your use may be subject to those providers’ terms.

• The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee accuracy of analysis, recommendations, or availability. You use insights at your own discretion.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for ongoing operational or security reasons. You may stop using the service at any time.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of laws principles. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the service.

We may update these Terms. We will revise the effective date above when changes are made.
